Wednesday Playoff Recap – Junior Sens Start the Series in Dominant Fashion

Ottawa, Ontario – The Junior Sens make a statement as they defeat the Pembroke Lumber Kings in game 1 of their series, 5-0.

OJS outshot the Lumber Kings 46-27 on route to the win. They were able to utilize five different goal scorers on their team with 3 separate players (Nick Lalonde, Isaac Anderson, and Pierre-Luc Veillette) were able to get 2 assists each in their effort.

The Lumber Kings were not able to get anything by Connor Hicks as he starts off the series with a shutout. They were also limited to just 4 shots in the 3rd period. Pembroke was not successful on the power play going for 0 for 6.

The Lumber Kings will look to regroup as they head to their home ice this Friday for Game 2 of their series. Puck drop is at 7:30pm EST.
