Jake Smith named the CCM Player of the Week

Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League is proud to announce that Pembroke Lumber Kings goaltender, Jake Smith, has been named the CCM Player of the Week.

Smith, 18, averaged a 2.49 GAA with a .939 SV% last week for the Pembroke Lumber Kings including a 43 save performance against the Brockville Braves. He had a 2-1-1 record during that stretch.

Honorable mentions this week are Cornwall Colts goaltender, Liam Lascelle, and Carleton Place Canadians forward, Sam Knoblauch. Lascelle averaged a 2.00 GAA with a .965 SV%  and had a 2-0-0 record. Knoblauch scored 2 goals and had 5 assists in 1 game played.
