The Central Canada Hockey League and Carleton Place Canadians are pleased to announce that ’98 born defenseman Tim Theocharidis has committed to join Bowling Green University for 2018-19.
The Pickering, ON native is heading into his second season with the Canadians after posting 7 goals and 20 points in 81 combined regular season, playoff, and tournament games in 2015-16.
The 6’0, 170 lb two-way defender is a strong puck mover, good skater & has above average puck skills. He is able to step up and take away ice from opposing forwards, and has the tools to contribute offensively.
The last Carleton Place skater to commit to Bowling Green was former captain Stephen Baylis who will be heading into his sophomore season with the Falcons this coming fall.
