TUCSON ROADRUNNERS SIGN FORMER LUMBER KINGS STAR SELLECK

 

The Tucson Roadrunners, the new AHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes have signed former Pembroke Lumber Kings forward Eric Selleck to an AHL contract for 2016-17.  This will be Selleck's third season as a member of the Coyotes organization.

 

Last season, while a member of the Springfield Falcons, the Spencerville, ON native posted 10 goals and 22 points in 60 games.  In 415 career AHL games, the 6-3, 218 lb hard-nosed winger has totalled 40 goals and 101 points, while amasing 1113 minutes in penalties. 

 

Before turning pro, Selleck played two seasons at NCAA III SUNY Oswego, posting 34 goals and 80 points in 54 games. 

 

While a member of the Lumber Kings, the now 28-year old scored 85 goals, and totalled 190 points in 189 career games.  He helped the Pembroke capture Bogart Cup titles in 2006 and 2007 while also adding a 2007 Fred Page Cup as Eastern Canadian Champions.
