F | Carleton Place 4, Cornwall 0

The Carleton Place Canadians record a shut-out in back to back games after they score two in the first, one in the second and one in the third period to finish off Cornwall.

Tim Theocharidis scored his first career hat-trick after he scored his third goal in the final frame. He now has 14 goals and 43 points, which now overpasses Hill for the league lead in defense points.   Forget made 24 saves for his 6th shut-out of the year. He has not allowed a goal in 131 minutes. The Canadians have also won seven straight games.

The Cornwall Colts have now lost two straight contests.

F | Hawkesbury 4, Navan 1 

After the Hawks were only leading 2-1 after two periods, they scored two more in the third to take the game. They outshot the Grads 48-21 in the win.

The 15 year old call-up Xavier Laveille scored a goal and had an assist in just his second career game for his first career CCHL points. Chris Smith also scored in the hockey game for his 19th of the season and fifth in his last four games. Hawkesbury have now won six straight games and have a goal differential of (26GF/10GA) during that time.

Navan has now lost 17 straight games with the loss today. Their franchise high for losses in a season is 24 which was set in 1994.

F | Ottawa 7, Nepean 0 

The Jr. Senators scored five unanswered goals in the second period and out-shot the Raiders 50-23 in the hockey game.

Ottawa snaps their two game losing streak after a regulation loss to Cornwall and a shootout loss to Hawkesbury on Friday. Danny Pion scores his first two goals of the season. Salloum leads the way with four assists which ties his season high for helpers in a contest. Hicks also records his fifth shut-out of the season and his third shut-out in his last four games.

The Raiders have now lost six straight games and are 3-7-3 since the start of January.

F/OT | Pembroke 2, Kanata 1

Kanata did open the scoring early in the first with a goal from Poeze but Pembroke tied it early in the third and won in overtime with Kamps getting the game winner.

The Lumber Kings are now tied for 7th with the Rockland Nationals and five points up on the Bears. Jake Smith recorded 39 saves in the win, which is the most amount of saves he has made in a win all season. Kamps overtime winner was his 2nd GWG of the season and his 11th goal. He now has five points in his last five games (2G/3A).

In the loss, Kanata has lost two straight. Poeze scores and Luca Nocita adds his 33rd assist of the season. That is tied for 4th in the CCHL.

F | Brockville 4, Rockland 1 

Both teams were tied 1-1 after one but Brockville ran away with the game in the second half after scoring three unanswered goals.

Holland stays hot coming off his commitment, netting his 18th goal of the season and his 4th in his last two games. Braves have now won two straight games.

In the loss, the Nationals stay at 50 points which is tied with the Lumber Kings for 7th in the CCHL standings. Only the top eight make the playoffs. Rockland has now lost four straight contests.
