Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the Source for Sports Performers of the Month.
Jace Letourneau of the Renfrew Wolves is Skater of the Month, Dimitri Pelekos from the Hawkesbury Hawks claimed Goaltender of the Month and Brayden Besner also from the Hawkesbury Hawks earned Rookie for the Month.
Skater of the Month | Jace Letourneau
The 2004 born Arnprior, ON has played 24 games this far with the Wolves. Earning a total of 39-points (23G, 16A) to contribute to Hawkesbury’s record of 10-12-2 having them in 11th place in the league, fifth in the Robinson division. Letourneau has been named player of the week as well as the Gongshow Gear Skater of the Month for November.
Goalie of the Month | Dimitri Pelekos
The 2003 goaltender born in St-Eugene, ON has been in net for 20 games this season with a record of 8-7-1. Currently Pelekos is at a 0.921 SV% and 2.95 GAA. With Pelekos’ strong tending abilities, Hawkesbury is currently fourth overall in the league, third in the Yzerman division.
Rookie of the Month | Brayden Besner
The 2006 forward, born in Casselman, ON, is currently in his first season in the CCHL. In 25 games, Besner has 14-points (10G, 4A).
