CCHL Recap | Raiders Have A Saturday Night Win

Ottawa, ON – The Nepean Raiders visited the Ottawa Junior Senators for a Saturday night game. After 60-minutes, the Raiders got a 5-1 win and took home 2-points.

The scoring started with Nick Houben’s goal for Nepean in the 1st period, setting the tone for the game. Although Mathis Bedard managed to net one for Ottawa in the 2nd period, Nepean quickly responded with goals from Mario Scalies and Bo Doxtator. The 3rd period solidified Nepean’s lead, courtesy of goals by Curtiss Sturgeon and Peter Freed. Nepean’s goaltender, Brady McEwan, played a pivotal role, making an impressive 23 saves, while Ottawa’s Matteo Bartlett put up a strong effort with 19 saves.
