The top two seeded teams in the CCHL met on Saturday night inside the Jim Durrell Sports Complex. 

Ottawa’s Michael Thomas netted the game winning goal with under two minutes remaining in the game to give OJS their first victory over Carleton Place this season. The goal was Thomas first with the Jr. Sens and fourth of the campaign. Connor Hicks made 38 saves in his first game back from injury. 

In the loss, Ben Tupker scored his 9th goal of the year and Forget made 22 saves. It was also the Canadians first loss in regulation since September 29th vs Hawkesbury.
