Morning Recap | Wolves and Junior Senators winners Saturday

 

RENFREW, ON – Just two games of CCHL action on Saturday saw the Renfrew Wolves and Ottawa Junior Senators pick up wins.

 

RENFREW 4 ROCKLAND 3 OT

Charlie Johnson scored twice, including the OT winner, Preston Brighton also tallied two goals, while Will Craig made 32-saves as Renfrew improved their season record to 29-16-1-1. Rockland, who fell to 19-21-4-2, had two goals from Wyatt Kennedy and a single from Yanic Crete, while Charles Schenkel made 51-saves in the losing effort.

 

OTTAWA 6 NEPEAN 1

Massimo Gentile and Anthony Provost each scored twice, Bodie Nobes and Julian Recine tallied singles, while William Desmarais made 16-saves as Ottawa improved on the year to a CCHL-best 38-5-2-2. Nepean, who dropped to 11-34-2-0, had their lone goal from Owen Hollingsworth, while Connor Shibley made 41-saves in the loss.
