Thomas Freel scored his league-leading 30th goal, Samuel Edwards, Simon Isabelle, and Julian Recine also scored goals, while William Desmarais made 30-saves as Ottawa improved to 37-5-2-2 on the season. Smiths Falls, who fell to 16-25-2-1, had their lone goal from Lleyon McLean, while Dalton McBride made 29-saves in the loss.
