Morning Recap | Full Slate of Games on Busy Tuesday

 

OTTAWA, ON – A rarity on a Tuesday as all twelve teams were in action across the CCHL region with the Ottawa Junior Senators, Hawkesbury Hawks, Carleton Place Canadians, Brockville Braves, Renfrew Wolves, and Navan Grads claiming victories.

 

OTTAWA 5 CORNWALL 2

Anthony Provost, Julian Recine, Massimo Gentile, Philippe Jacques, and Thomas Freel scored goals, while Zachary Bowen made 21-saves as Ottawa improved to 36-5-2-2 on the season. Cornwall, who fell to 10-28-3-4, had goals from Alex Fournier and Aaron Shaw, while Emile Savoie made 27-saves in the loss.

 

HAWKESBURY 3 SMITHS FALLS 2 SO

Jeremy Tremblay and Thomas Cusson scored in regulation, Cusson added the Shootout winner, while Matthew Tovell made 25-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 31-10-2-2 on the year. Smiths Falls, who dropped to 16-24-2-1, had goals from Shaymus Stevenson and Sean James, while Will McEvoy made 25-saves in the losing effort.

 

CARLETON PLACE 4 NEPEAN 3 OT

Brandon Walker, Marco Iozzo, and Evan Jamieson scored in regulation, Bill Gourgon netted the overtime winner, while Joe Chambers made 27-saves as Carleton Place improved their season record to 16-26-1-3. Nepean, who fell to 11-32-2-0, had goals from Jack Hillier, Jordan Graham, and Zachary Lefebvre, while Nathan Loisel made 40-saves on the losing end of things.

 

BROCKVILLE 7 KEMPTVILLE 3

Jack McDonald scored twice, Justin Dauphinais, Trent Ledrew, Luke Tchor, Caleb Kean, and Colin Elliott added singles, while Sami Molu made 28-saves as Brockville improved to 31-13-0-2 on the year. Kemptville, who fell to 24-16-4-2, had goals from Hunter Brazier, Patrick Larkin, and Jeff Taylor, while Rylan Donovan made 26-saves in the loss.

 

RENFREW 5 PEMBROKE 1

Brendan Hill, Charlie Johnson, Preston Brighton, Mason Goldie, and Mathieu Parent scored goals, while Will Craig made 39-saves as Renfrew improved to 28-16-1-1 on the season. Pembroke, who fell to 26-16-2-2, had their lone goal from Caden Eaton, while Nicholas Heinzle made 28-saves in the loss.

 

NAVAN 4 ROCKLAND 3 SO

Nicholas Paone, Cayden Faust, and Alec Lovisek scored in regulation, Lovisek added the Shootout winner, while Carter Garvier made 27-saves as Navan improved their season record to 22-19-1-1. Rockland, who fell to 19-20-3-2, had goals from Guillaume Labre, who scored his 1st career CCHL goal, Giovanni Morneau, and Manny Cabral, while Jack McGovern made 25-saves in the loss.
