CORNWALL, ON – There were two games of CCHL action on Saturday, which saw victories from the Cornwall Colts and Ottawa Junior Senators.
CORNWALL 4 SMITHS FALLS 3
Will McKinley, Brayden Bowen, Aaron Shaw, and Simon Laferriere scored goals, while Dax Easter made 26-saves as Cornwall improved to 8-20-3-4 on the season. Smiths Falls, who dropped to 10-19-1-0, had goals from Riley Thompson, Isaac Barrett, and Owen Watson, while Will McEvoy made 30-saves in the loss.
OTTAWA 3 RENFREW 1
Vincent Velocci, Julian Recine, and Massimo Gentile had goals, while William Desmarais made 33-saves as Ottawa improved their record to a CCHL-best 25-3-1-1. Renfrew, who fell to 20-10-1-1, had their lone goal off the stick of Tyson Tomasini, while Will Craig made 32-saves in the losing effort.
