Morning Recap | Five Games of action on busy Friday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Five games across the CCHL region on Friday night saw victories from the Brockville Braves, Navan Grads, 

 

BROCKVILLE 5 ROCKLAND 3

Anthony Biniaris, Justin Dauphinais, Luke Tchor, Owen Belisle, and Ryan Bonfield tallied goals, while Brandon Abbott made 33-saves as Brockville improved to 21-10-0-2 on the season. Rockland, who dropped to 10-18-2-1, had goals from Manny Cabral, Giovanni Morneau and Wyatt Kennedy, while Jack McGovern finished with 17-saves in the loss.

 

NAVAN 5 CARLETON PLACE 2

Calum Chau, Devyn Orpana, Cayden Faust, Alec Lovisek, and Gabriel Crete scored goals, while Ben West made 18-saves as Navan improved their season record to 18-10-0-1. Carleton Place, who dropped their record to 12-16-1-3, had goals from Mark MacPhee and Brandon Walker, while Brady McEwan made 27-saves in the losing effort.

 

KEMPTVILLE 10 SMITHS FALLS 1

Chase Lammi scored twice, Nathan Merrett, Benjamin Campeau, Patrick Larkin, Ty Whyte, Devon Savignac, Grady Logue, Jeff Taylor, and Brock Krulicki added singles, while Connor Blackwood made 27-saves as Kemptville improved to 18-9-2-2 on the year. Smiths Falls, who fell to 10-18-1-0, had their lone goal from Jacob Lesser.

 

RENFREW 5 PEMBROKE 2

Elvis Slack scored two goals, Talon Duff, Noah Vom Scheidt, and Mason Goldie also scored, while Will Craig made 22-saves as Renfrew improved to 20-9-1-1 on the season. Pembroke, who saw their record drop to 20-7-2-2, had goals from Caden Eaton and Nick Johnson, while Reece Proulx finished with 38-saves in the loss.

 

HAWKESBURY 5 NEPEAN 2

Bradley Horner, Tyler Samodral, Mark Cooper, Kerfalla Toure, and Thomas Cusson all found the back of the net, while Matthew Tovell made 20-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 20-9-1-2 on the year. Nepean, who fell to 7-24-1-0, had goals from Tyler Melvin and Costa Touliopoulos, while Nathan Loisel made 37-saves on the losing end of things.
