Morning Recap | Carleton Place and Hawkesbury winners Tuesday

 

Ottawa, ON – Just two games across the CCHL in rare Tuesday night action saw victories from the Carleton Place Canadians and Hawkesbury Hawks.

Brett Thorne, Elliot McDermott, Cameron Patton, and Stef Hawkins tallied goals, while Devon Levi had a 25-save Shutout to improve to a perfect 9-0-0 this season as Carleton Place improved their team record to a CCHL best 11-1-0-0. Riley McCabe made 26-saves for Kemptville who fell to 2-6-2-0.

Luke Graniger had 5 points (2G, 3A), Matt Gasuik (2G), and Sean Clarke scored in regulation, Jaxon Camp was the OT hero, while Mathieu Chener made 43-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 6-5-0-0 on the year. Brockville, who fell to 4-3-3-0, had goals from Justin McRae (2), Mathieu Halle, Alex Lachapelle, and Simon Kerr, while Jake Begley made 26-saves.
