CCM Performers of the Month for September Announced

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for September. 

Brett Thorne from the Carleton Place Canadians is the Player of the Month, Devon Levi from the Carleton Place Canadians is the Goaltender of the Month, while Reese Proulx from the Pembroke Lumber Kings is the Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | BRETT THORNE

The 1999 born Bedford, NS native registered 15 points (3G, 11A) in 11 games of action, placing him first among league defenders and second in overall scoring during September. The two-way defenseman logged almost 25 minutes of ice time per game while chipping in offensively and shutting down the defensive zone.

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | DEVON LEVI

The 2001 born Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC native posted a perfect 8-0-0-0 record with 2 shutouts, a 1.25 GAA, and .954 SV%. The University of Vermont commit is in his first season with Carleton Place. 

 

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | REESE PROULX

The 2002 born North Bay, ON native went 5-2-0-0 with a 1.64 GAA and .953 SV%. He has allowed 2 or fewer goals in all of his starts and has 243 saves on 255 shots.
