Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Rockland Nationals are pleased to announce that defenseman Connor Matton has committed to U Sports University of Windsor for the 2019-20 season.
The 1998 born Tecumseh, ON native recently completed his second and final season in the CCHL in which he finished with 25 points (5G, 20A) in 59 games of action, placing him second among team defensemen. He went on to add 3 assists in 10 playoff games. In 133 career regular season and playoff games with Rockland and Navan, Matton totaled 47 points (8G, 39A).
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Matton suited up for the LaSalle Vipers of the GOJHL after graduating out of the Windsor Jr Spitfires Midget AAA program.
