Carleton Place downs Kanata, 5-0

 

Geoff Kitt had one point to lead the Carleton Place Canadians to a 5-0 victory over the Kanata Lasers.

 

Carleton Place excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Canadians' offense rang up 35 shots on Kanata's net.

Carleton Place additionally got points from Ryland Mosley, who also registered one goal and one assist and Maxime StPierre, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Carleton Place also had goals scored by Marcus Joseph and Jacob Moreau, who each put in one. More assists for Carleton Place came via Lucas Batt, Shawn Kennedy, and Brett Murray, who each chipped in one.

Colton Point recorded 20 saves for Carleton Place. The Canadians incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Lasers' Alex Butler stopped 30 shots out of the 35 that he faced. Kanata incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
