CANADIANS VINNY POST COMMITS TO NCAA III ADRIAN COLLEGE

The Central Canada Hockey League & Carleton Place Canadians are pleased to announce that ’95 born forward Vinny Post has committed to attend NCAA III Adrian College in Michigan this coming fall.

The 6-2, 210 lb Clarkston, MI native spent three seasons as a member of the Canadians where he scored 43 goals and totalled 93 points in 126 regular season and playoff games.  He was an instrumental part to Carleton Place capturing three straight Bogart Cup & Fred Page Cup titles.

Known as a gritty two-way forward who competes from start to finish and goes to the dirty areas of the ice.  Post plays with intense passion and well-timed aggression.  He skates well for a player his size, and can create offense with his above average puck skills.  Projected as a bottom six guy at the next level but can fill in anywhere in the lineup and keep the opposition honest due to his style of game.

Carleton Place Head Coach Jason Clarke had this to say about Post.

Vinny was an integral part of how the culture in CP was developed.  His work ethic and desire to win every night was contagious over his three years.  Losing a game or a 1 on 1 battle in practice was unacceptable to Vinny.  He was one of the most feared power forwards in our league in the past decade.  Adrian College is getting a winner.

Post will now join the Bulldogs of Adrian College who are coming off their second straight Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Harris Cup Championship.  They will gladly welcome his championship pedigree.
