OTTAWA, ON – The Smiths Falls Bears continued their dominant postseason play as they took Game 1 of the Bogart Cup Championship Series.

Riley Thompson scored a hat-trick, Thomas Gangl and Shaymus Stevenson also scored, while Will McEvoy made 26-saves as Smiths Falls took a 1-0 series lead. Ottawa had goals from Owen Protz and Emile Villiard, while Rorke Applebee made 21-saves in the loss. Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday night in Smiths Falls at 7:00pm.
