Bogart Cup Playoff Recap | 73’s stay alive, Hawks and Lumber Kings win again

 

OTTAWA, ON – Three games on Easter Sunday saw the Kemptville 73’s, Hawkesbury Hawks, and Pembroke Lumber Kings get into the win column.

 

QUARTER FINAL GAME 4 | KEMPTVILLE 6 RENFREW 5

Brock Krulicki scored twice, Noah Houle, Chase Lammi, Adam Cavallin, and Grant Eastwood added singles, while Tyler Laureault made 24-saves as Kemptville kept their season alive. Renfrew had goals from Tyler Schweitzer, Tyson Tomasini, Connor Garcia, Elvis Slack, and Mathieu Parent, while Will Craig made 14-saves in the loss. Game 5 goes Tuesday April 19th at 7:30PM in Renfrew with the Wolves leading 3-1 in the series.

 

QUARTER FINAL GAME 4 | HAWKESBURY 5 NAVAN 4 OT

Antoine Dorion, Kerfalla Toure, Jakson Kirk, and Jeremy Quesnel scored in regulation, Jeremie Tremblay netted the overtime winner, while Matthew Tovell made 30-saves as Hawkesbury took a 3-1 lead in the series. Navan had two goals from Alec Lovisek, singles from Gabriel Crete and Braeden McKinnon, while Carter Garvie made 39-saves in the losing effort. Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday April 19th at 7:00PM in Hawkesbury.

 

QUARTER FINAL GAME 4 | PEMBROKE 6 BROCKVILLE 1

Joe Jordan and Jesse Kirkby scored two goals apiece, Jack Stockfish and Caden Eaton added singles, while Reece Proulx made 24-saves as Pembroke took a 3-1 lead in the series. Brockville had their lone goal from Luke Tchor, while Sami Molu finished with 18-saves in the loss.
