Ottawa, Ontario – Thursday night featured the Nepean Raiders coming away with a win over Kanata and the last place Cornwall Colts picking up a much needed win over Ottawa.

F | Nepean 5, Kanata 3 

After Kanata’s Felix Tourigny put Kanata within one, 3-2 in the third, Nepean scored two unanswered goals to lock up their second win in a row.

The Raiders Alexander Bourhas lead the way with 2 G / 1 A and Logan Bateman made 56 saves against his former team.

In the loss, the Kanata Lasers outshot the Nepean Raiders 59-18 and Luca Nocita tallied 1 G / 1 A.

F | Cornwall 6, Ottawa 3 

The Ottawa Jr. Senators and Cornwall Colts were tied at two after two period of play. Tristan Poissant netted his fourth of the season just over four minutes into the final frame to make it 3-2 Colts.

Cornwall would go onto score three unanswered goals, en-route to a 6-3 win. Cornwall has now won three straight home games and overall, they have won three of their last four games.

Tommy Tanner finished with three apples and Michael Carr made 38 saves in the win.

Ottawa’s Conor Smart netted 1 G / 1 A, while the team snapped it’s two game winning streak.
