Trade Report: Oct. 6, 2017

Ottawa, Ont. — Four player transactions were made on Friday, October 6th in the Central Canada Hockey League.

The Nepean Raiders dealt defenceman Bailey Brant to the Ottawa Jr. Senators in exchange for a PDF. Brant (’99) had one assist in nine games with Nepean this season, his third in the CCHL.

The Nepean Raiders acquired defenceman Bryson Michel from the Wellington Dukes (OJHL) in exchange for a PDF. Michel (’99) is an Ottawa native who split last season between major-junior Saint John (QMJHL) and Wellington.

The Smiths Falls Bears acquired goaltender Nick Wiencek from the St-Lazare Revolution (QJHL) in exchange for a PDF.

Wiencek (’98), who played in the famed Minnesota High School tournament with Eden Prairie last season, was then flipped to the Brockville Braves in exchange for a PDF.
