The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that '96 born Will LeNeave of the Carleton Place Canadians has made his commitment to join Union College for the 2017-18 school year.

The Orono, Minnesota native is in his first season with the Canadians after spending the past three seasons with Orono High of the USHS.   Listed at 6-3, 200 lbs, LeNeave is a big stay-at-home defender with a good stick and strong positioning who keeps things simple.

Carleton Place Head Coach Jason Clarke had this to say about LeNeave.  "Will is an elite skater who uses his size and speed to his advantage".  "His work ethic on and off the ice is what has allowed him to develop at such a quick pace".

Through 48 games, LeNeave has posted 4 goals and 13 points to go along with 58 PIMS. He is the seventh Carleton Place Canadian to make an NCAA commitment this season joining Goaltender Colton Point (Colgate), Defensemen Marcus Joseph (Sacred Heart), Owen Grant (Vermont), A.J Klein (Amherst) as well as Forwards Brett Murray (Penn State) & Jordan Larson (Alabama-Huntsville).
