Week 7 Power-Rankings

  1. Brockville Braves (14-1-0) – | Results: 4-3 W at KEM, 4-2 W vs. NAV | The Braves stay at #1 in the PWRK for the fourth week in a row. They’ve won 13 straight games. Their only loss of the season came on September 2nd (4-1) against the Rockland Nationals. Right now they are the hottest team in the CCHL.

 

  1. Hawkesbury Hawks (13-2-1) +1 | Results: 4-3 SOW vs. CP, 4-0 W at PEM | The Hawks are third in the CCHL’s standings with 27 points, which is one point behind the CP Canadians. Carleton Place has two games in hand, so Hawkesbury moves up one spot.

 

  1. Carleton Place Canadians (13-3-2) –1 | Results: 6-2 W at CRW, 4-3 SOL at HAW, 4-2 W vs. NAV | The Canadians went 2-0-1 this past week but move down a spot based on their loss to the Hawks and a couple of close games.

 

  1. Ottawa Jr. Senators (11-6) – | Results: 4-1 W vs. ROC, 5-2 W at PEM, 4-3 W at SF | The Jr. Senators extended their winning streak to six games. Things got heated in their school day win against the Nationals. Right now they are rising quickly.

 

  1. Rockland Nationals (10-7-2) – | Results: 4-2 L vs. NEP, 4-2 W at KEM | After a 1-1 week, the Rockland Nationals stay at #5 in the rankings because they are on the outside of the top four teams but are in front of the bottom seven.

 

  1. Kanata Lasers (8-9-2) +1 | Results: 6-1 L vs. SF, 4-2 W at NEP | The Lasers got back to their winning ways with a big 4-2 win over Nepean on Sunday. Right now they are not as good as Rockland but can defiantly pass them if they get hot.

 

  1. Kemptville 73’s (7-7-3) -1 | Results: 4-3 L vs. BRO, 5-1 W vs. CRW, 4-2 L vs. ROC | Kemptville is in the same boat as the Lasers but move down because of their 1-2 week.

 

  1. Smiths Falls (5-7-4) +2 | Results: 6-1 W at KAN, 4-3 L at OJS | Their 1-1 week moves the Bears up two spots. They beat Kanata and outplayed Ottawa on Saturday night. Their is a lot of talent on this roster, they just need to get hot.

 

  1. Nepean Raiders (6-9-1) +3 | Results: 4-3 W vs. PEM, 4-2 W at ROC, 4-2 L vs. KAN | The Raiders 2-1 week brings them out of the 12th seed in the PWRK for the first time since week 5

 

  1. Cornwall Colts (6-10-2) -3 | Results: 6-2 L at CP, 5-1 L at KEM | Currently on a two game skid, the Colts are 2-6 in October and have been a very streaky team this season.

 

  1. Navan Grads (4-12-2) –2 | 4-3 L at BRO, 4-2 L at CP | They held in tight against two of the top teams in the league but couldn’t get any wins. They had the lead in each game.

 

  1. Pembroke (6-11-0) -1 | Results: 4-3 L at NEP, 5-2 L vs. OJS, 4-0 L vs. KAN | A 0-3 week buts them at the bottom of the standings for the first time all season. After starting 6-1, they have now lsot 10 straight games.
