Sunday Recap | Four Games

Ottawa, Ontario – On Sunday in the CCHL, all three afternoon games finished with a final score of 4-2 and the Hawks shutout the Lumber Kings in the late game.

F | Rockland 4, Kemptville 2

Simon Houle scored his first goal in over a year, finishing the game with 1G/1A. Cameron Last had 1G/1A, snapping Rockland’s two game skid.

John Beaton had two assists and Ashton Fry picked up 1G/1A in the 73’s loss.

F | Kanata 4, Nepean 2

After Nepean tied it 25 seconds into the third, Kanata scored two unanswered goals to lead and to take it. Nicholas Case scored the game winning, snapping the Lasers five game lossing streak. Felix Tourigny had 1G/1A in the win.

Patrick Larkin and Cole Lavoie scored for the Raiders in the loss.

F | Carleton Place 4, Navan 2

The Canadians outshot the Grads 34-24. Navan was leading until Keenan Reynolds scored late in the second to tie it. Ben Tupker scored with five seconds left in the game to win it, stealing at least a point away from the Navan Grads.

In the loss, Jesse Lycan scored two goals and Jackson Arcan had two assists.

F | Hawkesbury 4, Pembroke 2

That’s now back-to-back wins for the Hawks. Matt Petizian made 28 saves for his third shutout of the season.

The Lumber Kings have dropped ten straight games.
