Week 25 – Power Rankings

  1. Carleton Place Canadians(51-4-4) (CJHL #1) | LW: 1 (–) | Results: 7-2W vs. SFB, 4-0W vs. KEM, 2-1W vs. OJS | The Carleton Place Canadians continue their stranglehold of the top spot in the CCHL with impressive victories over Smiths Falls, Kemptville, and Ottawa. They maintain their number 1 seed in the Robinson Division and on top of the CJHL.

  2. Ottawa Jr. Senators(44-7-7) (CJHL #6) | LW: 2 (–) | Results: 8-4W vs. ROC, 3-1W at CRW, 2-1OTL at CPC | Despite an overtime loss to the Canadians, The Ottawa Junior Sens maintain their top spot over the Yzerman division.

  3. Brockville Braves(33-19-4) | LW: 3 (-) | Results: 3-2SOL at KAN, 3-2W vs. HAW, 6-2L vs. PEM | A mixed week for the Brockville Braves as they were able to get the points they needed to secure the 3rd They’ll look to try and consistently get points whether it be through wins or extra-time hockey to keep secure of teams like the Lasers, the Hawks, the Lumber Kings, and the Colts.

  4. Kanata Lasers (30-21-9) | LW: 4 (-) | Results: 3-2W vs. BRO, 6-3L at PEM | Starting the week off strong with a win over the Brockville Braves, the Lasers stay in their 4th spot because of the loss to the Lumber Kings. Lasers are gunning for that 3rd spot and are a team to look out for.

  5. Pembroke Lumber Kings(28-23-4) | LW: 6 (+1) Results: 6-3W vs. KAN, 6-2W vs. BRO | The Lumber Kings had a great week thanks to wins over the Kanata Lasers and the Brockville Braves, all in convincing fashion. The Lumber Kings move up a spot in the rankings and are a team to look out for.

  6. Hawkesbury Hawks(33-20-3) | LW: 5 (-1) | Results: 6-3L at CRW, 3-2SOL vs. BRO | Not the Hawks week as they are currently on a 3 game losing streak including 2 losses this past week. One to the Cornwall Colts and a shootout loss to the Brockville Braves.

  7. Cornwall Colts(28-23-6) | LW: 7 (-) | Results: 6-3W vs. HAW, 3-1L vs. OJS | The Colts will look to try and continue their offensive firepower like they did with the Hawkesbury Hawks. If they can continue to shoot high scoring games like they are known to do, they can make a serious climb up the Power Rankings.

  8. Rockland Nationals(26-27-4) | LW: 8 (-) | Results: 8-4L at OJS, 4-2L vs. NEP, 3-2W vs. SFB | The Nationals took a bad loss to a really good team in the Ottawa Junior Senators. The win over Smiths Falls will hopefully get the ball rolling for them to go on a win streak and look to try and shoot up the rankings.

  9. Smiths Falls Bears (23-30-6) | LW: 9 (-) | Results: 7-2L at CPC, 4-0W vs. NAV, 3-2L at ROC | Other than a shutout win over the Navan Grads, the Bears weren’t having the week they would have liked taking a combined 10 goals in their 2 losses.

  10. Nepean Raiders(21-30-6) | LW: 10 (-) | Results: 4-2W at ROC, 6-0W vs. NAV | The Raiders have been looking very good with solid victories over the Rockland Nationals and the Navan Grads. They will look to play spoiler to the rest of the teams in the CCHL.

  11. Kemptville 73’s(17-37-3) | LW: 11 (-) | Results: 3-1W vs. NAV, 4-0L vs. CPC | 73’s went from facing the worst team in the CCHL to the best team and both had different results. The 73’s will continue to try and make strides and play good hockey.

  12. Navan Grads(9-46-0) | LW: 12 (-) | Results: 3-1L at KEM, 4-0L at SFB, 6-0L at NEP | The Grads losing ways continues as they take 2 straight shutout losses letting in 10 goals combined in those games. The Grads haven’t won a game since late November of last year.
