Ottawa, Ontario – The Ottawa Jr. Senators took a 1-0 semi-finals series lead over the Brockville Braves on Thursday night after a 6-1 win.
They scored two in the first, two in the second and two more in the third before for the victory. OJS started off the game strong scoring just over a minute in, courtesy of Nick Lalonde who netted his first goal of the playoffs. Morin was the main story, scoring two goals and an apple.
Brockville’s Gilmour scored their only goal. The Braves were outshot 35-19 in the loss. Game two is in Brockville on Friday evening.
