Jack Quinn did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and William Brochu delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Boucher opened the scoring for Kanata with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:53 with helpers from his teammates Quinn and Sleeth. Poeze put in a goal at 8:05 with a helper from his linemate Johnston. Beaudry quickly followed with a goal at 9:00 with assists from Merrell and Brochu.
