Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the Source for Sports Performers of the Month.
Alex Fournier of the Hawkesbury Hawks is Skater of the Month, Viacheslav Gordeichuk from the Renfrew Wolves claimed Goaltender of the Month and Kimani Eccleston from the Brockville Braves earned Rookie for the Month.
Skater of the Month | Alex Fournier
The 2003 born L’Ile-Bizard, QC has played 32 games this far with the Hawks. Earning a total of 51-points (24G, 27A) to contribute to Hawkesbury’s record of 18-11-2-1 having them in fourth place in the league, third in the Yzerman division.
Goalie of the Month | Viacheslav Gordeichuk
The 2003 goaltender born in St Petersburg, Russia has been in net for 26 games this season with a record of 13-9-2. Currently Gordeichuk is at a 0.907 SV% and 3.03 GAA. With Gordeichuk’s strong tending abilities, Renfrew is currently eighth overall in the league, third in the Robinson division.
Rookie of the Month | Kimani Eccleston
The 2007 forward, born in Brampton, ON, is currently in his first season in the CCHL. In 30 games, Eccleston has 14-points (9G, 5A).
