Saturday Recap | Ottawa defeats Kemptville

Ottawa, Ontario – The Ottawa Jr. Senators (8-6) scored first and did not look back, coming away with a 5-2 win over the Kemptville 73’s (6-6-2) on Saturday night at the Jim Durrell Sports Complex.

After the 73’s made it 2-1 in the third, the Jr. Senators scored three answered before the Kemptville added one later on.

Walsh recorded his league leading 10th goal and 19th point in the win. He extends his point streak to eight games. Owen Cole (2A) and Ethan Manderviller (1G/1A) had a multi-point game. Ottawa extends their winning streak to a season high three-games.

Luke Jefferies and Garrett Meyer scored the two goals for the 73’s. They were out-shot 34-24.
