OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is delighted to announce the resurgence of the esteemed CCHL Draft, scheduled to return in April 2024. This year’s draft will mark a departure from previous seasons, as it will focus on U16, U18, and lower-tier Junior eligible players, rather than on graduating U15 players.
The Draft will feature a structured format where the first two rounds will be dedicated exclusively to players born in 2008. Subsequent rounds will be open to all eligible players born in 2006, 2007, and 2008 who are currently registered with a Hockey Eastern Ontario team this season and not included on any CCHL team’s Protect List.
