OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Rose Marie Courchaine has been named the recipient of the 2022-23 Pat Smith Award for her dedication and outstanding contributions to the Ottawa Junior Senators.
“Rose Courchaine has been the heart of the Ottawa Junior Senators Volunteer Group for the past two decades”, said Junior Senators General Manager Jamie Mayo. “She has served the team in various roles and always ensures that the friends, families and guests attending OJS games are greeted with a smile and a friendly ‘hello’. She ensures that all of the volunteer positions are accounted for and will man the admission table at all of our home games.
Rose loves all the OJS team members and is forever showering them with special treats throughout the year and will frequently be seen in the arena hallways offering the players encouragement and support.
Rose’s positive attitude and welcoming personality help make the Ottawa Junior Senators game nights special and she is a deserving recipient of the Pat Smith Award this year.”
