Release | 73’s Sarah Nichols named 2022-23 CCHL Trainer of the Year

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Kemptville 73’s Sarah Nichols has been named the 2022-23 CCHL Trainer of the Year, claiming the honour for the third straight season.

“Sarah is an important part of the 73’s organization, said 73’s Head Coach Shawn Fensel. “Her knowledge and experience in treating players from concussions to other hockey related injuries is what sets her apart. This award is well deserved as recognition for the time and effort that Sarah gives to the 73’s and our league”.

Nichols, who has her Honours Bachelor of Science specializing in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, as well as her Master’s in Osteopathic Manipulative Science from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy has been a member of the 73’s CCHL training staff for the past 8 years (7 years full-time).
