OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Carleton Place Canadians forward Cato Ryan has been named CCM Hockey High School Academic Player of the Month.
The 2006 born Kanata, ON native and Colgate University commit attends Peak Academy in Kanata where he is carrying current marks of 80, 91, 94, 91, and 94. His classes are Business, Media Studies, English, Hockey, and Fitness Education.
On the ice, Ryan is tied for 3rd overall among rookie skaters with 12 points (4G, 8A) in 22 games. He is the top producing 16-year old in the league.
