RECAP: JR SENS STRIKE FIRST IN CCHL SEMI-FINAL VS COLTS

Cornwall – The Ottawa Jr Senators topped the Colts 5-1 in the opener of their CCHL semi-final series.

 

The Jr. Sens outshot the Colts 36-17 with Liam Lascelle getting tagged with the loss for the hometown Colts.

 

Keegan Mulhearn broke Ian Andriano’s shutout bid with 9 minutes left in the 3rd period for Cornwall lone goal.

 

Hubert Delisle and Nicolas Samson each had a goal and two assists to lead Ottawa’s offence.  Jaren Burke, Elie Boulerice and Adrien Bisson also scored for the Jr Sens.

 

The Wendy’s Restaurant Three Stars were First Star Hubert Delisle (OTT), Second Star Elie Boulerice (OTT) and Third Star Keegan Mulhearn (COR).

 

Game 2 in the best of seven series is schedule for the Jim Durrell Rec Centre in Ottawa this Saturday night.  Game time is 7:30pm.

 

The teams return to Cornwall for game 3 Tuesday, April 4th.  Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
