Recap | Capitals fall to HV71, will play for Bronze Sunday

 

Sochi, RU – A tough first period of hockey put the Ottawa Capitals behind, and would ultimately cost them in the end as they fell 4-2 to HV71 from Sweden in their Semi-Final match-up on Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, Ottawa will play for a Bronze medal on Sunday afternoon against Red Bull Salzburg of Austria. 

Scoring for the Capitals were Joshua Barnes and Alex DiCarlo. Liam Souliere made 28 saves in the losing effort.
