Playoff Recap | Canadians Win Series and Cornwall Forces a Game Six

On Friday night, Hawkesbury and Cornwall went to overtime with the Colts Barnes winning it for them as they forced a game six for Sunday. The Canadians beat the Rockland Nationals 7-2 at home on Saturday night to move onto the next round.

F\2nd OT | Cornwall 3, Hawkesbury 2 | Hawks lead the series 3-2.

15 year old Josh Barnes scored the double overtime winner to force a game six. Hebert tied it at two in the third.

Hawks outshot the Colts 64-40 in the loss.

F | Carleton Place 7, Rockland 2 | Canadians win the series 4-1.

The Canadians outshot the Nationals 57-27 on route to the victory. Tim Theocharidis scored 2 goals and Broughman had two apples. Five other Canadians scored in the win.

Rockland’s became the second team to be eliminated with Kanata swept on Thursday. Congratulations to ’97 born Rockland players: Mathieu Blanchette, Trevor Coykendall, Raphael Gosselin, Antoine Leblanc and Olivier Shingh Gomez on playing their last game and graduating to better things.
