Ottawa downs Cumberland in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

 

The Ottawa Senators' Jody Sullivan scored 1:14 into overtime to beat the Cumberland Grads, 3-2 (OT).

 

Ottawa was paced by Sullivan, who had one goal.

Others who scored for Ottawa included Alexandre Way and Zachary Cross, who each put in one. More assists for Ottawa came via Adrien Bisson, Daniel Sarracco, Dean Hewines, Elie Boulerice, and Geoffrey Lawson, who each chipped in one.

Cumberland was held below its usual level of production. The Grads average 4.3 goals per game.

Cumberland was helped by Martin Frechette, who registered one goal. Frechette scored on the power play 7:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Cumberland. The Grads earned a power play opportunity when Jim Pearson was put in the box for hooking. Zackhary Salloum picked up the assist. Shawn Cameron also scored for Cumberland.
