NEW OWNERSHIP GROUP FOR GLOUCESTER RANGERS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ottawa, Ontario (September 27. 2016) – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to welcome the ownership group headed by Andre Chaput as the new owners of the Gloucester Rangers Hockey Club.

Mr. Chaput and his team have acquired the Rangers from Paul Jennings who purchased the club from a group in 2007 that included Chaput.

Much has changed in the CCHL since that time, and the CCHL Board of Governors is completing its final approval process in the next few days.

The Rangers have hired former Ottawa Junior Senators Associate Coach and Assistant General Manager Dan Sauve as their General Manager and Head Coach.

Current plans for the team are to remain in Gloucester this season and talks are under way for a relocation to Rockland in the 2017-18 marking the return of Junior A hockey to a community who is one of just two national champions from the CCHL (1976)
