Morning Recap | Jr Senators and Bears notch victories Wednesday night

 

Ottawa, ON – In Wednesday night CCHL action, the Ottawa Jr Senators and Smiths Falls Bears picked up victories.

Ranvir Gill-Shane, Brent Broaders, Maxime Blanchard, Tucker McIntosh, David Berube, Brendan Bays, Owen Cole, and Thomas Freel tallied goals as Ottawa stormed back from down five goals to improve their season record to 12-5-1-0. Kanata saw their record fall to 10-6-0-1, receiving goals from Austin Paul, Luca Nocita, Trevor Poeze, Felix Tourigny, Alan Njima, and Derek St-Jean.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 4 KEMPTVILLE 2

Stuart Martin, Tate Leeson, Ryan Richardson, and Brendan Dempsey all found the back of the net, while Jake Smith made 32-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 7-9-0-1 on the year. Hunter Brazier and Carter Vollett responded for Kemptville, while Riley McCabe made 22-saves in the losing effort as the 73’s fell to 6-9-2-0 on the season.
