Ottawa, ON – Two games of CCHL action on Thursday night saw the Rockland Nationals and Kanata Lasers picking up victories.

Simon Labelle and Aidan Hilton tallied regulation goals, Alex Frechette netted the overtime winner, while Cole Hudson made 21-saves as Rockland won their sixth straight game to improve to 14-4-0-0. Will McKinley scored both goals for the Colts, while Rico Dimatteo made 46-saves as Cornwall fell to 3-12-1-1 on the year.

Charlie Johnson scored the first three goals of his CCHL career, Trevor Poeze and Austin Holmes scored singles, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny made 36-saves as Kanata improved to 11-6-0-1 on the season. Navan, who fell to 7-11-0-0, had goals from Curtis Fabbro, Mason Goldie, and Tristan Francis, while Alex Aslanidis made 32-saves in the losing effort.
