Morning Recap | Hawks, Junior Senators, and Bears Tuesday Winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Three games across the CCHL region Tuesday which saw victories from the Hawkesbury Hawks, Ottawa Junior Senators, and Smiths Falls Bears.

 

HAWKESBURY 4 CARLETON PLACE 1

Jakson Kirk, Kerfalla Toure, Mark Cooper, and Rylee Hlusiak tallied goals, while Dimitri Pelekos made 16-saves as Hawkesbury improved on the season to 33-11-2-2. Carleton Place, who fell to 17-28-1-3, had their lone goal from Isaac Pascoal, while Joe Chambers made 26-saves in the losing effort.

 

OTTAWA 3 KEMPTVILLE 2

Tomislav Brennan, Philippe Jacques, and Julian Recine scored, while William Desmarais made 21-saves as Ottawa improved to 39-5-2-2 on the season. Kemptville, who fell to 25-17-5-2, had goals from Brock Krulicki and Devon Savignac, while Tyler Laureault made 30-saves on the losing end of things.

 

SMITHS FALLS 5 ROCKLAND 1

Riley Thompson had a hat-trick, Sean James scored twice, while Will McEvoy made 27-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 19-25-2-1. Rockland, who fell to 19-22-4-2, had their lone goal from Manny Cabral, while Jack McGovern made 19-saves in the loss.
