HAWKESBURY, ON – Two rare Tuesday night games saw victories from the Hawkesbury Hawks and Smiths Falls Bears.
HAWKESBURY 6 RENFREW 2
Josh Spratt and Thomas Cusson scored two gals apiece, Ryan Murphy and Rylee Hlusiak also found the back of the net, while Matthew Tovell made 26-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 22-9-1-2. Renfrew, who fell to 20-11-1-1, had goals from Charlie Johnson and Trent Scullion, while Will Craig made 30-saves in the losing effort.
SMITHS FALLS 6 NAVAN 2
Brody Fournier scored twice, Colton Chipman, Jacob Lesser, Owen Watson, and Riley Thompson added singles, while Dalton McBride made 43-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 11-19-1-0 on the year. Navan, who fell to 19-11-0-1, had goals from Alec Lovisek and Nicholas Paone, while Ben West made 24-saves in a relief appearance.
