OTTAWA, ON – Wednesday offered up two games of CCHL action, with the Carleton Place Canadians and Ottawa Junior Senators both skating to victories.
OTTAWA 4 PEMBROKE 2
Thomas Freel, David Mabey, Massimo Gentile, and Philippe Jacques scored goals, while William Desmarais made 20-saves as Ottawa won their 10th straight to improve to a CCHL-leading 27-3-1-1. Pembroke, who dropped to 20-9-2-2, had goals from Raphael Seguin and Jesse Kirkby, while Nicholas Heinzle finished with 38-saves in the losing effort.
CARLETON PLACE 6 NEPEAN 4
Jonathan Swyer, Marc-Antoine Ducharme, Isaac Pascoal, Jackson Hay, Gino Colangelo, and Derek Hamilton netted goals, while Jackson Pundyk made 29-saves in his first career CCHL start as Carleton Place improved their season record to 13-17-1-3. Nepean, who fell to 7-26-1-0, had goals from Tyler Melvin, Chase Campeau, Ryan Liverman, and Zachary Lefebvre, while Nathan Loisel made 23-saves in the loss.
