Morning Recap | Grads, 73’s, Junior Senators grab wins Wednesday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Three games Wednesday night saw the Navan Grads, Kemptville 73’s, and Ottawa Junior Senators claim victories.

 

NAVAN 7 NEPEAN 1

Alec Lovisek scored twice, Owen Parsons, Gabriel Crete, Blake Butler, Michael Kopcok, and Cayden Faust also scored, while Ben West made 44-saves as Navan improved on the season to 26-22-1-2. Nepean, who fell to 12-38-2-0, had their lone goal from Zachary Lefebvre, while Nathan Loisel made 47-saves in the loss.

 

KEMPTVILLE 5 RENFREW 2

Chase Lammi scored two goals, Nathan Merrett, Jeff Taylor, and Devon Savignac also found the back of the net, while Tyler Laureault made 36-saves as Kemptville improved to 28-17-5-3 on the season. Renfrew, who dropped to 32-17-1-2, had goals from Brendan Hill and Jakob Kalin, while Will Craig made 33-saves in the losing effort.

 

OTTAWA 4 HAWKESBURY 2

Thomas Freel, Simon Isabelle, Vincent Velocci, and Anthony Provost scored goals, while William Desmarais made 21-saves as Ottawa improved to a CCHL-best 41-6-2-2. Hawkesbury, who fell to 35-12-3-2, had goals from Jeremy Quesnel and Kerfalla Toure, while
