Morning Recap | Nationals, 73’s, and Canadians winners Tuesday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Three games across the CCHL circuit Tuesday saw victories from the Rockland Nationals, Kemptville 73’s, and Carleton Place Canadians.

 

ROCKLAND 5 NAVAN 3

Dylan Blue, Jack Meloff, Yanic Crete, William Pilon, and John Mulvihill scored goals, while Jack McGovern made 51-saves as Rockland improved their season record to 22-22-4-2. Navan, who fell to 25-22-1-2, had goals from Braeden McKinnon, Owen Parsons, and Danyk Drouin, while Ben West made 28-saves in the loss.

 

KEMPTVILLE 4 PEMBROKE 1

Chase Lammi scored twice, Hunter Brazier and Patrick Larkin also found the back of the net, while Tyler Laureault made 27-saves as Kemptville improved to 27-17-5-3 on the year. Pembroke, who dropped to 29-19-2-2, had their lone goal from Jesse Kirkby, while Reece Proulx made 37-saves in the losing effort.

 

CARLETON PLACE 3 CORNWALL 1

Spencer Neil, Jackson Hay, and Gino Colangelo scored goals, while Brady McEwan made 33-saves as Carleton Place improved on the season to 18-30-2-3. Cornwall, who fell to a record of 12-32-3-5, had their lone goal from Wil McKinley, while Emile Savoie made 29-saves on the losing end of things.
