Morning Recap | Goals a plenty during Friday night CCHL action

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Friday night, saw a ton of goals as Brockville, Hawkesbury, Smiths Falls, and Rockland came away victorious.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 7 NAVAN 4

Troy Bowditch (2), Ryan Gillespie, Anthony Biniaris, Matthew Donovan, Parker Casey, and Mathieu Wuth all found the back of the net, while Simon Harkness made 31-saves as Brockville won their thirteenth straight game to improve to 20-4-3-0 on the season. Navan, who fell to 11-18-0-0, had goals from Jean-Sylvain Boyer, Jackson Arcan, Devyn Orpana, and Blake Butler.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 5 KANATA 1

Evan Johnston (2), Jeremy Quesnel, Jaxon Camp, and Patrick Callahan scored goals, while Mathieu Chenier made 23-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 14-13-1-0. Kanata saw their record fall to 16-10-1-2.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 6 NEPEAN 2

Thomas Quick, Alex Lewis, Reid Russett, Andre Simard, Theo Todd, and Shawn Sloan tallied goals, while Jake Smith made 36-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 13-13-0-1 on the year. Nepean saw their record fall to 4-22-1-2.

 

F | ROCKLAND 5 KEMPTVILLE 2

Simon Labelle tallied a hat trick, Cole Craft and Cameron Last also scored goals, while Cole Hudson made 40-saves as Rockland improved their record to 18-8-0-2 on the year. Kemptville saw their record fall to 9-16-3-0.
