Ottawa, ON – Two games of CCHL action on Saturday night saw victories from the Carleton Place Canadians and Cornwall Colts.

David Gagnon (2), Steven Townley, Caleb Kean, and Jake Code recorded goals, while Devon Levi made 23-saves as Carleton Place won their eighth straight game to improve to 25-3-2-0 on the season. Rockland saw their record fall to 18-9-0-2.

Jackson Hay and Christophe Cote scored in regulation, Will McKinley netted the overtime winner, while Rico Dimatteo made 36-saves as Cornwall improved their season record to 9-18-1-1. Ottawa, who fell to 18-10-2-0, had a multi-goal effort from Thomas Freel, while Felix Schnell made 28-saves in the loss.
