Morning Recap | Full Slate of Games Friday with all 12 teams in Action

 

OTTAWA, ON – Friday night saw all twelve teams in action, with the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Kemptville 73’s, Renfrew Wolves, Rockland Nationals, and Ottawa Junior Senators claiming victories.

 

BROCKVILLE 3 PEMBROKE 1

Ryan Bonfield, Michael Bencivengo, and Caleb Kean found the back of the net, while Sami Molu made 28-saves as Brockville improved to 22-10-0-2 on the year. Pembroke, who fell to 20-10-2-2 had their lone goal from Jacob Zwirecki, while Reece Proulx made 31-saves in the losing effort.

 

HAWKESBURY 5 NAVAN 1

Rylee Hlusiak scored twice, Jakson Kirk, Thomas Cusson, and Josh Spratt has singles, while Matthew Tovell made 23-saves as Hawkesbury won their 6th straight to improve to 23-9-1-2 on the season. Navan, who dropped to 19-12-0-1, had their lone goal off the stick of Devyn Orpana, while Ben West made 33-saves on the losing end of thing.

 

KEMPTVILLE 8 NEPEAN 4

Hunter Brazier and Johnny Howie had two goals apiece, Brock Krulicki, Devon Savignac, Grant Eastwood, and Chase Lammi added singles, while Connor Blackwood made 23-saves as Kemptville improved to 20-10-2-2 on the season. Nepean, who fell to 7-27-1-0, received goals from Tyler Melvin, Adam Cater, Jordan Graham, and Zachary Lefebvre, while Evan Martin made 27-saves in the loss.

 

RENFREW 5 CARLETON PLACE 1

Elvis Slack, Joey Kennelly, Trent Scullion, Tyson Tomasini, and Noah Vom Scheidt tallied goals, while Will Craig made 21-saves as Renfrew improved their season record to 21-11-1-1. Carleton Place, who fell to 13-18-1-3, had their lone goal from Matteo Disipio, while Jackson Pundyk made 38-saves in the losing effort.

 

ROCKLAND 7 CORNWALL 1

Giovanni Morneau netted a hat-trick, Alexandre Frechette scored twice, John Mulvihill and Gabriel Filion added singles, while Jack McGovern made 28-saves as Rockland improved to 12-18-2-1 on the year. Cornwall, who dropped to 8-22-3-4, had their lone goal from Keanu Krenn, while Dax Easter made 27-saves in the loss.

 

OTTAWA 5 SMITHS FALLS 4

Julian Recine scored twice, Tomislav Brennan, Philippe Jacques, and Jake Code also scored, while Zachary Bowen made 29-saves as Ottawa won their 11th consecutive game to improve to a CCHL-best 28-3-1-1. Smiths Falls, who fell to 11-20-1-0, had goals from Brody Fournier, Sean James, Riley Thompson, and Owen Watson, while Dalton McBride made 44-saves in the losing effort.
