Morning Recap | Four games of exciting action Friday night

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Friday night saw victories from the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Kemptville 73’s, and Carleton Place Canadians.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 4 ROCKLAND 0

Parker Casey, Ryan Gillespie, Colin Stacey, and Josh Spratt tallied goals, while Jake Begley had a 39-save shutout as Brockville improved to 25-6-3-0 on the season. Rockland saw their record fall to 21-12-0-2.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 4 NAVAN 1

Kris Pietroniro scored his first two career CCHL goals, Drew Rose and Luke Grainger also found the back of the net, while Mathieu Chenier made 23-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 18-14-2-0. Navan fell to 14-22-0-0 on the year.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 2 SMITHS FALLS 1 OT

Jared Patterson tied the game up late and then netted the overtime winner, while Riley McCabe made 10-saves after replacing William Anderson, who left with an injury as Kemptville improved to 14-18-3-0 on the year. Smiths Falls, who fell to 15-15-1-1, had their lone goal from Brody Fournier, while Jake Smith made 30-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 4 PEMBROKE 3 OT

Steven Townley (2), Daniel Nelson, and Austin Mourar scored goals, while Addison Lawrence made 22-saves as Carleton Place improved to 29-3-3-2 on the year. Pembroke, who saw their record fall to 18-14-1-1, had goals from Fletcher Anderson, Nicolas Guillemette, and Jacob Shankar, while Nick Beck made 22-saves in the loss.
